Packing: In HDPE Carboys & Drums.
Physical Properties: Colorless liquid, Strong odor, Concentration of
Solution range up to about 30% ammonia.
Chemical Properties: Sp.Gr. 0.9 having strong smell of ammonia, Alkaline
in nature pH.9-10.
Uses: Textiles manufacturing of rayon rubber, fertilizers, ammonia soaps,
fireproofing wood, ink manufacturing etc.
BARIUM SALTS:
Barium Chloride: U.N.NO l564 Chemical Formula BaCI2 2H20

Physical Properties: It is colorless powder or crystals. Soluble in water
& Insoluble in alcohol.
Chemical Properties: % of BaCI2 Contain in powder 99 to 102% Matter

aqueous solution 5.0 to 8.0
Uses: In textile Dyeing, Manufacturing of white leather & Boiler compound,

Barium Hydroxide: Chemical Formula Ba (OH)2 8H20

in water.

SODIUM SALTS
Sodium Sulphide (60-62%):Chemical Formula Na2S

Physical Properties: Yellow or Saffron flakes.
Chemical Properties: of material as Na2S & NaHS contain 58 to 62. Excess
alkali nil Reducing compound other than Na2S & NaHS not more than 1 %.Iron

nil.Water insoluble less than 0.2%
Uses: sulfur dyes, Paper pulp, Photographic reagent, & analytical reagent.
Used as reducing agent in dyes & drugs intermediate. Tanneries.
Sodium Silicate: Chemical Formula Na2O SiO2
Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE Jars.
Physical Properties: Solution cloudy or clear & Varying from high fluid to
extreme viscosity.
Chemical Properties: % of Na2O contain in active form 48.6 to 51.5 density
2.61. g/cc or 75ib /cu ft. Soluble in water, Precipitated by acids & by
alkaline earth & heavy metal ions pH of 1% solution 12.6 Non toxic Non
combustible. Gels form with acids between pH 3 to 9 Toddle degree of
material, as 2Na2O SiO2 is 1 14 to I 1 5. Viscosity ranges from 0.4 to
600,000 poise f p . Slightly lower than water. Miscible with some
polyhydric alcohol's.
Uses: Catalysts and silica gels, soaps and detergents, adhesives, water
treatment bleaching and sizing of textiles and paper pulp, binder for
abrasive wheels chemical equipment lining.
Sodium Meta Silicate: Chemical Formula Na2SiO3
Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE laminated bags with thick inner liner.
Physical Properties: A crystalline silicate pH of 1-% solution 12.6
non-toxic, non-combustible.
Chemical Properties: Ductless white granules m.p. 1089 0c total Na2O
content 51.5% total Na2O in active form-n 48.6% density 2.61 g/cc or 75
lb/ cu ft. Soluble in water precipitated by acids & by alkaline earth &
heavy metal ions.
Uses: Laundry, diary and metal cleaning, floor cleaning base for detergent
fon-nulations bleaching aid, deinking paper.
Sodium Hypochlorite Solution: Chemical Formula NAOCl.
Packing: In HDPE Drums & Jeerycans.
Physical Properties: Appearance yellowish green clear solution having
pungent smell of chlorine.
Chemical Properties: Available Chlorine 10% +/- 1% excess sodium hydroxide
1. 15% Sp.Gr at 25 0c 1. 11 - 1.12 insoluble impurities absent. Unstable
in air unless mixed with Sodium Hydroxide. Strong oxidizing agent usually
stored and used in solution decomposed by hot water m.p.1 80 c.
Uses: Textile bleaching, Laundry bleaching, Aqua food processing,
Disaffection of drinking water, Swimming pool, Treatment of sewage
effluent and many others.
